COVID-19 Essential Services only backup

We support the Manitoba government’s decision to enforce the closure of non-essential businesses. These are unprecedented times and we believe this decisive action will help slow the spread of this virus. Effective November 12th until further notice, all businesses within the mall are closed except those deemed essential. 

Effective November 12, Grant Park will be open 10am-6pm daily for essential retail shops and services.  Some tenants may operate addtional hours, and some may be on a reduced schedule. If you are unsure if a retailer is open or operating on reduced hours, please contact the retailer directly.

Only the following businesses deemed to provide essential goods and services are open. This list is subject to change.:

All our tenants, most of whom are small businesses and all of whom are our friends and neighbours, are a vital part of our community. Our hearts go out to them and all of you. Be well, stay safe, and hang in there. Together, we can all get through this. The safety of our customers, employees and the public are our priority. Mall Hours

The safety and well-being of our guests, tenants and staff is our top priority. In addition to the elevated cleaning program already in place, we will be temporarily adjusting our hours to do our part in helping prevent the spread of COVID-19.

Mall access doors have also changed. Mall access will only be from the West Entrance (near Red River Co-Op).  Some anchor stores are operating different hours from the mall. 

Recently, we have undertaken several steps in our effort to prevent the spread of COVID-19 including escalated cleaning programs and reduction of mall operating hours. We are following all guidelines from health and governmental authorities to do our part in preventing the spread of the virus, and constantly updating or amending our practices as required.

In-Mall Procedures

The World Health Organization (WHO) has recently announced the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) is now at a Pandemic level. In addition to the elevated cleaning protocols already in place, Grant Park, along with other Primaris shopping centres, has implemented the following precautionary measures:

• The loaning of mall-owned wheelchairs will be suspended
• Water fountain use suspended
• Special events that result in large gatherings will be limited or suspended
   

Help prevent the spread of COVID-19:

• Wash your hands regularly with soap and water for at least 20 seconds
• Avoid touching your face with your hands (eyes, nose, mouth)
• Cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze with a tissue and dispose of the tissue in the trash
• Avoid close contact with people who are sick
• Monitor workplace sickness, especially those who have been overseas
• Clean and disinfect frequently touched items on a regular and consistent basis
• Stay home if you are sick
